In the past two years the Oriak Digital has specialized on database content development. We have the capacity to create databases from scratch. This we do through internet research and data mining.

Data refining, clean-up and update

We also create databases from content provided by our clients. This could be emails, CVs, trade documents such as invoices, personal information forms etc. We clean, refine, verify and update this data to make it credible and useful.

We use the CVs and documents sent by the candidates to build the databases for recruitment companies. This is done by reading them through CVs, analysing them and understanding the information in them. We then retrieve the required data and load it onto the recruitment firm’s database. This could be an online or offline database.

We update and verify databases by emailing the persons’ recorded on the database to confirm if the information on the DB is accurate and correct.

Data uniformity and consistency

According to a client’s brief we make sure that information/data on the database is uniform and consistent for ease of use i.e. sorting, searching and filtering. This makes the data more useful to the users saving them data access time.

Oriak Digital does mailbox management which includes email response services. This is done by redirecting your mailbox to a specially set-up email address from which we’ll receive and respond to emails as per a clients brief. Examples of commonly redirected email addresses are enquiries@companyname.com, customerservice@companyname.com, reservations@companyname.com, info@companyname.com, etc.

Document formatting

Document formatting is done to help the reader easily point out the documents’ key points without reading through the whole document. This is done by the use of guiding headers on the document. These headers are systematically broken down to help the reader understand the flow of the document. An element of document summary is involved; this is done without compromising the credibility of the information on the document.

Website content development and updates

We do website updates using content provided to us by the client or content obtained by us through internet research. We update web pages that require regular updates such as ‘News’, ‘Upcoming Events’, ‘Jobs’, etc. We also update online information resources such as;

Oriak Digital provides Financial, Legal and General Transcription services. We transcribe live or recorded conference calls, seminars, interviews, focus groups and sermons. We have a team of highly skilled transcribers who are able to quickly turnaround audio and/or video transcripts. Our key focus is on accuracy and turnaround time. We do the following types of transcription:

  (a)  Real-time transcription
  (b)  Verbatim transcription

Depending on a clients brief we can also do Time Stamping. This is the insertion of audio/video time on a document. This helps the reader to locate text on a transcript from a certain section/portion of an audio or video without necessarily reading through the whole document.

Transcription editing/Proof reading

The Oriak Digital team also has experienced transcript editors/proof readers who read through transcripts using the transcript’s audio correcting errors. Our team of professional editors and proofreaders will review, research and correct raw transcripts in order to provide our clients with 100% accurate digital information. For verbatim transcripts we do not correct grammatical errors.
